During the manifestation of this piece, I had an open door into the pool of collectives. So much so, that my dreams were infected with patterns oddly familiar to me, but not yet seen. This piece is heavy with symbology that self-manifested itself. Taking me almost to an Atlantean / Mayan / Egyptian way of symbology. I did a little research on totem pole medicine before starting the project. There is a platform I had in mind for how I perceive the totem, but I will let that be up to the Eye of the beholder. This Totem Pole Glass Sculpture was made with borosilicate (Pyrex) glass and stands 14" tall, and has a wing span of 8". Made in 2007.
